Rep. Alonzo Files for Re-Election for State Representative of the 104th district

 Dallas, TXState Representative Roberto R. Alonzo filed for re-election Saturday, November 14, 2015 . This will be Representative Alonzo’s tenth full term in the Texas House, representing District 104 in the southwestern region of Dallas. Rep. Alonzo was first elected in November 1992, starting his first term during the 73rd Regular Session in 1993.

 Following the close of the recent 84th Legislative Session, Rep. Alonzo reflects on his achievements serving in the Texas House of Representatives.

“I am truly honored to have represented the constituents of District 104 in the 84th Legislative Session. This session resulted in such great accomplishments, not only for my district but for the entire state. I am proud to have authored numerous pieces of legislation, specifically those in regards to Higher Education, that will serve my community greatly in the future. I hope to continue working with my fellow policymakers in the House of Representatives to ensure that families in my district are getting the representation they deserve and need. Dallas is my home and I am devoted to serving my community to the best of my ability.”

 Representative Alonzo is currently the Vice-Chair for the House Pensions committee, and is a member of the Higher Education, Calendars and Administration Committees.
