Dallas Can Academies honored Natalie Jenkins Sorrell at its Motherhood Luncheon at The Renaissance Dallas Hotel.
It also announced that it will name a school for retired WFAA-TV(Channel 8) news anchorwoman Gloria Campos.
Richard Marquez, the president and CEO of Texans Can Academies, announced that the Dallas Can Early Childhood Development Center, which is scheduled to open in September 2015, will be named in honor of Campos.

“It takes a village to raise a child and a mother,” Sorrell said. “Mothers also need help and support in their most important job.”
